Site Visit on Monday, November 30th, 2015: Hunter's Point / Queens West Library

We're visiting the site for Queens West Library today- the project presented to you last week at Steven Holl's office.


You can take the 7 train to Vernon Blvd - Jackson Av. The site is located at 47-40 Center Boulevard, Queens, NY 11101, but we will meet by the subway entrance/exit at the corner of 50th Ave and Vernon Blvd. Please don't be late; we will start walking over to the site at 4:20pm; it is a ten minute walk and we're planning on being onsite at 4:30pm.

Site Visit on Monday, November 23rd, 2015: Steven Holl Architects

We are visiting Steven Holl Architects' office on Monday, November 23rd. The address is 450 W 31st St, New York, NY 10001. They are located on the 11th Floor, but we will meet outside the office at 5:45pm. Do not be late.



You can take the 7 train to 34 St - Hudson Yards, or the A, C, E trains to 34 St - Penn Station, and walk down (about ten minutes) from there.

Welcome ACE Team 8

Welcome, new and returning students, to the 2016 ACE Team 8 blog. 

This will be the location where everyone will be able to share information, ideas, suggestions, photos, sketches, video, maps, drawings, stats, models, thoughts etc. about this year's project.
